When I wanted my race cars rebuilt, I went to the guy I knew would get the job done right; Dennis McCormack. Dennis worked for me for many years as my race team manager and when he went into the restoration business I had him restore my ‘86A March Indy Lights Car and ’82 Ralt Super Vee. I’ve owned race cars since 1954 and it’s important to me to have someone of Dennis’ expertise work on my cars.

We have a 1985 Jaguar XJ6 that has been in the family since new. It was rarely driven after the first few years, and mostly sat idle. It had less than 60, 000 original miles on it; however, all the suspension was in dismal shape. Because the car had never truly been garaged (shaded carport was its only shelter) the paint was severely checked and faded.

We entrusted the car to Dennis, and within a few weeks all of the suspension, drivelines and steering components including the rear end, were completely dismantled, stripped and rebuilt with all new bushings, ball joints, u-joints and bearings. The brake calipers and rotors were rebuilt and the entire undercarriage was cleaned and repainted. The air conditioning system was repaired, and Dennis was able to buff out the paint sufficiently to get us a few more years before having to repaint the car. Dennis sourced a local upholsterer to restore the interior and with a little time spent with them, we had a new car!

The handling is better than new and we have no more disturbing noises and rattles driving down the road. We are extremely pleased with the outcome.
