Each restoration is a completely individualized work. We will take decades of rust from your car and sometimes the pieces that come off of your car will disintegrate in our hands as we loosen them. We will recreate pieces that can no longer be purchased. We will make the little things that don’t work come to life again. And we will take off pieces that have been added through the years that weren’t there to begin with.

> How long does a restoration typically take?

The length of the project depends on the condition of the vehicle to be restored. An estimate can be given when we evaluate your vehicle.

> What will the restoration of my vehicle cost me?

We charge on a time and material basis. You will receive a firm hourly labor rate but it is not possible to project the cost of restoring a vehicle. To restore a vehicle, it must be fully disassembled and each part must be evaluated as to its condition. After the disassembly and restoration or rebuilding of the parts has taken place, the vehicle is reassembled. During this process there are many factors that may impact the cost and time needed to properly restore your vehicle. As the work proceeds, damage that has been caused by rust and deterioration may be revealed and we may find parts that need to be replaced or recreated.

Typically we will evaluate your vehicle and determine an estimated time frame for the restoration from the visual inspection. Once the work ensues, we may encounter those problem areas that are mentioned above. Each project is unique in its circumstances and we work with our clients at that critical juncture to determine how they want to continue.

> I want to do a portion of the work myself –are you willing to do partial restorations?

Yes we do partial restorations.

> Can you arrange for transportation for my vehicle?

We will have your vehicle picked up and delivered to our shop upon request.

> I see that you say you will travel to my location.

I have restored vehicles in my client’s shops and garages at their requests. Special arrangements can be made for this service.
